We always love going to the Mule! Food is always great, fun people, great service! Had the chicken and chorizo tacos and the Ding Dong burger. This burger will grow on you big time!!
Nice little bar and grill. Food and service was great. Not very busy for a late lunch in the fall. Awesome that we have ATV trail access to eat here! Thank you to the Messalonskee Riders ATV Club.
Everyone needs to try their house made buffalo sauce. I can't remember what they exact name was, but it was one of the best I have ever had!!!!
This has quickly become my favorite place. The food is outstanding. They make their own hamburger buns and deserts. Everything is fresh and absolutely delightful. The girls are amazing, friendly with awesome personalities and great service. They make you feel right at home. I can't compliment this wonderful establishment and the awesome people that work here enough.
Another great meal on the deck at Thirsty Mule. We had the veggie flatbread pizza with garlic parmesean sauce and it was delicious. Server was friendly as always.
I was excited to try the wings, but I was disappointed. Pricing, parking hassle, charges for every little extra (even a credit card fee!), a drafty dining room, and barflies all made the Thirsty Mule a disappointing experience. I will say that the buffalo sauce had extra kick, but the $2 per wing section price definitely wasn't balanced or justified by quality, presentation, service, or atmosphere. Yes, you read that correctly! Five average sized wing SECTIONS, not whole wings, were $10.99. Ten wing sections were $18.99, plus I was charged for ordering two different flavors on one plate, for an extra cup of dip, charged a digital payment fee, and if I wanted all flats i would have been charged an additional $2. Side note: you will not be brought or offered an extra plate for your bones.
